Plant Care

Philodendron hearts

Sunlight - Loves medium indirect light, but can tolerate low indirect light (Note: direct sunlight may cause the plants color to fade) Water - Allow the soil to dry out between waterings on average about 1-2 weeks. Remember to Increase frequency with increased light & during cold months water less. Temperature - Thrives in temperatures between 65°F-75°F Pro-tip - moist air will help lead to larger leaves and faster growth so grab your mister!

Hen and Chick succulents
  • Sunlight - Let them soak up full sun (where your plant will receive the most direct light) for about 6 hours daily .

  • Water - These gems are desert babies which means they are accustomed to very little water and even soil. We suggest *bottom watering (explained below) when soil completely dries out.

  • Soil - well drained works best for succulents. It helps to mimic their natural environment (sandy, gravelly soil). We used FoxFarm Ocean Forest Potting Soil plus sand and pumice to get you started.

  • Fun Fact - During the winter months some varieties of these succulents magically change into vibrant colors!

How to bottom Water

  • Place plant into a shallow bowl - 1/4 filled with water.

  • Let them drink 5-15 min. or whenever you see that the soil is moist all the way to the top.

  • Now allow them to hang out for a few minutes to drain the excess water. It’s that simple!
